Life just became even more amazing. I now have DSL in my house. I knew we had DSL available in my village, but put off getting it because I was A) nervous to speak in Romanian about computers B) didn't want to be too distracted by having the internet.

With the money being spent on phone cards to talk with family this makes so much sense. And I'm able to really be connected to friends, family, and the news. I feel very spoiled. I know this winter is going to be long and cold so I'm happy now to have something more to do when everyone goes into hibernation.

My soba is warm and I am going to watch the news. :)
